Screaming into the void

By

I hear you. Sitting still when everything feels like it’s spiraling? That’s torture. They say to surrender, to let it flow, but what if the flow feels like drowning? What if stillness feels like being trapped in a burning room with no way out?

It’s infuriating when you know there should be a way forward, but it’s like the lights at the end of the tunnel just flickered out. You know they were there. You saw them before. So why is everything so dark now?

Maybe it’s okay to be mad about it. Maybe it’s okay to clench your fists, grit your teeth, and sit in that fire for a second. Because fighting it won’t fix it, and neither will pretending it’s fine.

So, be mad. Feel it. Let the heat rise. And when you’re ready, when the anger simmers down just enough, maybe you’ll find a spark in the ashes. Maybe that’s the light that leads you forward.

There’s a gravity in your fire.

It doesn’t ask for escape, it asks to be witnessed…felt.

Sit in the blaze. Let it curl around your ribs.

Let it pave pathways in the dark so that light, when it returns, will know exactly where to flow.

    Anger is never the enemy.

It’s the compass pointing to the place you’ve always been meant to burn toward.

    Let it burn.
