The Magic Football

By

I obtained a magic football. Now, the football came with instructions. Personally, I always thought things were self-explanatory so why would a football require instructions, just throw it!

The instructions were written in a beautiful gold scribe. I was still stunned as to why a football needed instructions. The instructions were as follows:

  1. Breathe intention into the ball
  2. With that intention, call the plays to get you in the endzone
  3. Protect the ball at all costs, YOU are the (Q)ueen (B).
    • You are also the running back and a wide receiver

So I did just that. I walked to midfield and spoke all my hopes and wishes into the ball. After I was done, I got in position and called out all the plays to make sure I would score that touchdown, I really needed that touchdown. With the snap, I caught the ball with precision, and I focused on where I wanted to throw it. I then cocked my arm back and let go of one of the most flawless spirals you could ever see and sprinted forward to catch the ball. Unfortunately, like all football games – you get tackled. I was tackled at the 20-yard line. I realized you may have that clear vision of the endzone but, that doesn’t necessarily mean the pathway there will be free of obstacles. That is when it becomes humbling. It’s time to recalibrate and refocus on the main goal, that endzone. I get up and gather myself and get into position and call out another play. Once again, I threw that ball beautifully and sped up to catch it with that final destination in mind. As the ball is zipping through the air, I see the endzone getting closer and closer until I look back and see I beat the ball there. I waited with open arms and caught The Magic Football.

TOUCHDOWN!

All my dreams, hopes, and manifestations have been received. I won the super bowl, and I am bringing home a Lombardi to put on my shelf.

I am the QB, the running back, and the wide receiver in my own game.

The game is life.
