They say the grass is never greener on the other side. It’s greener where you water it and nurture it, right?
Let’s break down the anatomy of a garden;
You have to lay the soil down, the foundation. This would be the intention of what you’re planting.
Next comes the seeds.
Daffodils are for new beginnings, Gardenias for purity and gentleness. Sunflowers to deliver consistency and loyalty. Don’t forget some Lavender to bring you calmness. Yellow Tulips, because there is sunshine in your smile. Pink Azaleas are for family. Cosmos for order and harmony. We cannot forget Red Roses to welcome unconditional love because love shows no limits or conditions.
Get your hands deep into the earth and feel the dirt under your nails, this is how you ground yourself and also boost serotonin. It’ll make you feel good naturally.
Now, plant the seeds.
A thriving garden requires adequate sunlight, love, and attention. Sound familiar?
The thing about gardening is, you have to trust the process. Gardens take maintenance and unfortunately, a lot of people don’t have patience. What can start out as just a patch of dirt and some seeds can blossom into the most beautiful garden that you have ever seen. Take away all the metaphors and you’re left with the basics of a relationship.
And if you don’t take care of your garden, you can end up with a big ass plot of manure.
It’s your choice.
