Like water.
I take form to my surrounding, like being poured from a jug into a cup.
I run with the earth.
I can be frozen in time, then melt under pressure.
I can be a refreshing as morning dew or with the turn of a faucet, scorch you and leave you sweltering as your flesh bubbles from the burns.
Like water, I turn into solid, liquid and vapours.
I’m a rock for you to lean on, tough enough to last. Solid.
When you touch me, I melt. Liquid.
Turning into these forms so rapidly causes me strain. That’s when I become absent minded. I can’t be all these things at once.
As I start to realize you have abused my powers I disperse through the air. Vapour.
To think I am just as versatile as water…
I give you life.
But, you chose to stay dehydrated.
